Stephanie Casilagan MSc

Stephanie is currently undertaking her PhD studies, under the supervision of Dr. David Egan.

    Prior to commencing her PhD studies, Stephanie graduated with a BSc in Biomedical and Advanced Materials and has worked as a research assistant through the PMTC in a number of large pharmaceutical manufacturing organisation's and had also worked as a graduate teaching assistant in the Dept. of Chemical Sciences at the University of Limerick.

    Stephanie's PhD is focused on : “Novel belt compaction technology for pharmaceutical powder dry granulation processing” and in her spare time, Stephanie enjoys participating in outdoor pursuits such as hiking and camping and has a keen interest in digital photography.

    Stephanie's current research is focused in the areas of:

    • Materials Science
    • Process Engineering
    • DoE
    • Powder Technology
    • Process Modelling for OSD manufacture
    • Formulation Development
    • Continuous Pharmaceutical Process
