Dr. Vasanth Kannuchamy
Dr. Kannuchamy first joined the University of Limerick, Department of Chemical Sciences as a Lecturer of Chemical Engineering in June 2019 and is a Principal Investigator with PMTC.

Having initially completed a bachelor’s degree in chemical technology and masters in environmental technology Dr. Kannuchamy holds two PhD degrees, a PhD in Environmental Technology from Anna University (India) and a PhD in Chemical and Biological Engineering from University of Porto (Portugal.).
Having won several prestigious fellowships that includes Senior Research Fellow (CSIR India), Juan de la Cierva (MICINN, Spain), IAPP Marie Curie Research Fellowship (EC) and IEF Marie Curie Research Fellowship (EC), Dr. Kannuchamy has published over 80 first plus communicating author high impact articles in numerous high impact journals that include Chemical Reviews (IF: 52.613), Journal of Materials Chemistry A (IF: 11.301), ChemSusChem (IF: 7.962),which are cited 7200 times with an h index of 32. D. Kammuchamy was 'one of the top 50 cited researchers in the world' 2004-2007 under the field of colloid and interface science and has received awards for publishing the most cited article.
