Webinar: Navigating Horizon Europe

Horizon Europe (HE) is the EU’s key funding programme for research and innovation with a budget of €95.5 billion. It tackles climate change, helps to achieve the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals and boosts the EU’s competitiveness and growth. The programme facilitates EU collaboration and strengthens the impact of research and innovation in developing, supporting and implementing EU policies while tackling global challenges. Enterprise Ireland believes there is a significant opportunity for our clients to benefit from the next call for proposals under the European HE programme. The 2022 call has been launched at the end of October and will focus on projects aimed at addressing digital and sustainable manufacturing contributing to the EU target of climate-neutrality by 2050. Examples of digital and sustainable projects, individual vs. collaborative research and tips about how to lead/join a HE consortium will be provided. Intervention areas for next year are manufacturing technologies, quantum technologies, emerging enabling technologies, advanced materials, artificial intelligence and robotics, next generation internet, advanced computing and Big Data and circular, low carbon and clean industries and space technologies.
