PMTC Cleaning Validation Training Programme

PMTC held their 1st hands-on training in cleaning and cleaning validation recently at the Bernal Institute, University of Limerick. Subject matters experts from Hyde Engineering, Ecolab and STERIS delivered theoretical sessions covering hot topics in cleaning and cleaning validation in addition to the new regulations in the field. This was followed by Hands-on workshops using the PMTC unique infrastructure covering VRLs’ calculation procedures, cleaning methods development using a Film flow rig as well as CIP equipped with PAT for real-time verification and monitoring, and focus groups. In attendance on the day, were 20 participants from 8 leading pharma companies in Ireland.

PMTC are planning for more hands-on training in the coming months. While the training is open to the public, there is a reduced rate for PMTC Members and also members can leverage their research components to attend the training programmes.
