Near IR Spectroscopy

Near infrared is a proven, flexible and effective technology for in-line monitoring method for material and chemical attributes.

The four probes can be easily mounted in a process as PAT (process analytical technology) tool to accurately monitor e.g. moisture content in a fluidised bed granulation and drying process.

The NIR probes provide real time characterisation data and allow the immediate detection of changes. The collected data may also be utilised to improve process understanding and better batch-to-batch consistency.

Our In-line NIR probe from Innopharma Technology can be used for different processes like:

  • Component Concentration Analysis – in-line tracking of API concentration in continuous blending and compression analysis
  • Material Density Analysis – in-line ribbon density analysis in roller compaction
  • Endpoint detection of mixing or drying processes
