The Annual Knowledge Day is PMTC's flagship public event, attended by hundreds of delegates annually. The purpose of this event is to share information among our members, and to provide networking opportunities. The event provides a showcase for cutting-edge research with keynote addresses from industry thought leaders who share their future vision for the pharmaceutical sector.

Knowledge Day topics are directly relevant to the pharmaceutical industry including the latest PMTC core research programme across our 3 core research areas of plant cleaning & changeover, process development, control, optimisation and data analytics. The PMTC Knowledge Day format is typically a one day event comprising:

Keynote addresses by industry thought leaders and academics
Lightning talk sessions with focus on collaborations with partner companies
Vendor exhibition, Q&A and networking sessions

Knowledge Day 2020

In 2020, PMTC's Knowledge Day was a virtual event due to COVID 19, nevertheless the event was very successful event, with over 200 attendees and a wide range of guest speakers on the day.
